Global Linguistik is a leading language center based in Guadeloupe (French Caribbean islands) where we offer language classes, linguistic trips as well as international au pair placement programs.

We recruit all year long and represent experienced childcare professionals willing to work abroad, gain experience and improve their language skills.

Our recruitment process

We operate a “zero tolerance” recruitment scheme about safety.

All candidates are strictly shortlisted to specific criteria such as care work experience, proven educational background in childcare, personality and long-term commitment.

Our decisions rely also on their ability to pass with success all police and criminal checks.

Should you decide to place an enquiry for an au pair your needs will be discussed. We will then decide if we can recommend an applicant at this time.

This applicant will be:

• Assessed on your conditions
• Able to show you evidence of their qualifications, diplomas and police checks on arrival
• Possess a valid EU passport and willing to apply for a work visa if necessary

Families need to fill a short presentation form. This form will help us identify your essential demands and provide the best person.

An employment contract between you and the au pair is also mandatory. We can also help by providing a template.

Our candidate’s anticipations

In return, our candidate will expect:

• Respectable working and living conditions
• A maximum of 40 hours per week of childcare & MINOR household duties.*

Please note that this needs to be established on the contract.

• 15 hours minimum of spare time during the week to take language classes
• Full board accommodation
• An individual furnished bedroom in your household
• A weekly cash allowance

• Health care insurance
• Transportation from Guadeloupe to your home country
• A month of paid holidays (per 12 month period)

We ensure our applicants are available for at least a year and organise an informative session with them about their host country.

We arrange their language classes and school’s enrolment before departure. We also verify their progress reports for the first two months.
